Objectives - After completing this case study the students will be able to:
1. Analyze the information provided and evaluate a potential etiologic agent.
2. Answer specific questions with regards to staining interpretation and growth requirements.3. Determine the most common method used to prevent this infection.
4. Research the organism and identify a means of treating the infection.
5. Work together as a team to solve a problem and communicate solutions.
