Field of Study
Strong emphasis in
numerical methods for solving problems. Researched and studied Ordinary and
Partial Differential Equations. This includes an analysis of the stability of
the differential equation and the stability of the numerical methods used to
solve these equations. This involved writing up projects where computers where
used to test the theories on particular problems.
Studied Fourier Analysis and its application to solving
Partial Differential Equations.
Graduate courses completed include math 201ABC (Real
Analysis), math 243ABC (Ordinary Differential Equations), math 246ABC (Partial
Differential Equations), and math206ABCD (Numerical Analysis).
