Limits Involving

NOTE:  You won't be responsible for this material in this class.   However, I still encourage all of you to read this over carefully.

Below are various limits involving infinity, followed by the corresponding formal definition.    Please refer to the first limit definitions to see an explanation of this notation.  Although we won’t be using these definitions in this class, such precise definitions are necessary to build solid (and bug-free) proofs of calculus theorems.
