Before taking the chapter test you should first work through each section in the chapter. To work though a section,1. Read the section lesson, working along with "pencil in hand" as you read.
Don't just read it, DO IT!2. Solve the odd numbered practice problems for the section.
Check your answers.
3. Take the chapter section quiz.
You may redo the section quizzes for a better grade.After completing the above process for each section of a chapter, you should take the chapter post-test.
You may also retake the chapter post-tests, if you think you can improve on a previous score.
Final Exam: There will be various times available during final exams week to take your final exam. If you can't come to
Bakersfield College to take your final, please contact your prof to make arrangements.Getting Help: I’m always available to answer questions via email. Those of you who reside near Bakersfield may also take
advantage of unlimited free drop-in tutoring atthe Math Lab ( in SS 140 ) , for from 8:30am to 7:30pm, Mondays through
Thursdays (during the spring semester). I highly recommend that you avail yourself of this valuable resource!
